Tournament Format

The Prep League Golf Tournament determines the Prep League champion in golf each year.  This year it is held at Independence Golf Club on May 15 & 16.  Each of the ten schools in the Prep League sends a team consisting of six golfers.  The golfers tee off at 7:30 a.m. on Monday in a shotgun start.  The best four scores from each team are added together for a total team score.  Pairings on Tuesday are determined by the scores on Monday, and play begins at 7:30 a.m.  The total team scores from each day are added together to determine the final standings.  Individual All Prep honors are given to the golfers who shoot the ten lowest 36 hole scores.
